Share media files externally

Create a sharing link to share a single file or multiple files as a zip archive. The sharing link does not require a user and makes it quick for external people to access files.

Share to email and direct link

Share one or more files to an external person without an account in the media bank. Choose how long until the link expires (or make a link that works permanently). You can share individual files or entire albums. The content of shared albums will automatically be updated if you change the content afterwards.

When you click "Share", a unique link is created where the files are available. You can also choose to send the link to one or more email addresses with a message text of your choice.

How to share

1. Select one or more albums and files
2. Click on the download tool (arrow down) and then select "Share" from the menu shown. Read more about the tools
3. From the dialog box that appears, choose how long the link is active, message text and email to send to (if you are sending to several recipients separate the addresses with commas).
4. Confirm by pressing the "Share" button in the dialog box.
5. Now the message "Files are shared" is displayed. The sharing link is also shown here. If you want to save the link to send it to people yourself, remember to save it now. The link cannot be seen again if you have closed the window.

The recipient

The recipient you share to receives an email that explains that files have been shared as well as your own message. Your message is also visible on the sharing page. The sharing page shows albums and files with the option to either Download all files as a zip archive or download individual files or albums.
