Share media files to external parties

Share to email and direct link

Select how long it will take for the link to expire (or make a link that works permanently). You can distribute individual media files or entire albums. The contents of distributed albums will automatically be updated if you change the content afterwards. When you click "Share", a unique link is created where the images are available. You can also choose to send the link to one or more email addresses with a message text of your choice.

Sharing files

1. Select one or more albums or files.
2. Click Down Arrow Icon -> Share. Read more about the tools
3. From the dialog that appears, choose how long the link is active, message text and email to send to (if you send to multiple recipients separate the addresses with commas).
4. Approve by pressing the Share button in the dialog.
5. The message The files are shared is now displayed together with a downlaod link. If you want to save the link to send it to people yourself, remember to save it now. The link will not be visible again if you close the window.

The Recipient

The recipient to whom you share files with will receive an email explaining that files have been distributed as well as your own message. Your message is also visible on the dividend page. The distribution page shows albums and media files with options to either Download all files as a zip archive or download individual media files or albums (it is also possible for the recipient to open albums).
